The story and values of LANIUS

LANIUS is first and foremost a family story built on strong values.
Founded in Cologne by designer Claudia Lanius, the brand is now led together with her daughter Annabelle Homann, supported by a dedicated team creating timeless pieces designed to last.

LANIUS sources most of its materials from certified organic agriculture, ensures fair working conditions, and avoids substances that are harmful to both people and the environment. Transport routes are carefully considered to minimise ecological impact, and the brand goes beyond selling clothes by offering care, repair and resale services to extend the life of each garment.

The goal of LANIUS: to make fashion meaningful and valuable again, while encouraging a more mindful relationship with what we wear.

Fashion is a passion. Twice a year, new collections are designed in the Cologne studio: feminine, refined and created with great attention to detail.
Only trends with long-term relevance are embraced, resulting in garments that transcend seasons and become true wardrobe favourites.

THINK ORGANIC

Sustainability is at the heart of every decision. LANIUS is GOTS-certified, a member of the International Association of Natural Textile Industry (IVN) and works mainly with certified organic materials, regularly audited by independent institutions.
Out of respect for animals, only mulesing-free wool is used, and the vegan collections are PETA-Approved Vegan, guaranteeing cruelty-free fashion.

BE RESPONSIBLE

LANIUS takes responsibility throughout its supply chain by maintaining close, long-term relationships with its production partners. Social standards are verified on-site and supported by recognised certifications such as GOTS, amfori BSCI, SA8000® and the Fair Wear Foundation.
