The Hummingbird, I’m doing my part …
One day says an old Native American legend, there was a huge forest fire. All of the animals were terrified, grounded, they watched the disaster powerless.
Only the small hummingbird did something, he got a few drops of water with its beak to throw on the fire. After a moment, the armadillo, annoyed by this ridiculous agitation, said to him: “Hummingbird! Are you crazy? It is not with a few drops of water that you’ll extinguish the fire!”
And the hummingbird answered:” I know, but I do my part.”
A meeting, a desire to share
At the time when we met, we want to live closer to what we are deeply: one loves contact with people and dreams since always of a shop, the other is an independent in the soul and wants to be free to think and act.
Both of us need authenticity, a return to a gentler lifestyle (“slow”) and closer to nature. We are concerned with the environment and the well-being of both men and animals. We recycle, we eat organic, we seek natural ways to treat ourselves and transmit the same values to our children.
Which planet are we going to leave to them? This question is rooted in us, in our daily lives, in the heart of our homes and we want to act.
Together, we want to get a message across, change the world.
A new concept: Home party of Bio & Ethic prêt-à-porter for women
At each of our meetings, we speak with enthusiasm about clothes, materials, colors, trends. We exchange on new forms of shops, concept-stores, private sales, … Our project is emerging little by little.
Aware that the fashion sector is one of the most polluting sectors and causes a lot of human suffering, we want to do something else. We want to sell beauty and quality but also organic, sustainable and ethical, at competitive prices with prêt-à-porter brands that respect our philosophy.
This is how the idea of creating our own concept springs up; a concept in our image, that of women who, like us, want to “do their part” while having fun.
Home party are then obvious: an appointment, friends, a relaxing afternoon made of laugh, exchange, advice around a collection; a sweet way to go shopping.
